Relating the word with the expressions of the basmalah
Abstract
This work is an investigation of the book (Connecting the Word to the parsing of AlBasmalah) by Ahmad bin Ali Al-Madani, who was born in Madinah in the year 1070 AH.
He is a well-known scholar in language, grammar, jurisprudence and principles. He
transmitted texts from scholars with scientific honesty. He has many books, including
(Sharh al-Basmalah, Sharh on Al-Ajramiyah, Sharh on Al-Isagogi in Logic), when he
transmitted the texts he mentioned the names of the scholars who supported and those who
objected to them. He was not biased to a specific opinion, but only transmitted what the
scholars mentioned based on the sayings in grammatical issues, and his references were
different, sometimes he mentions the name of the scientist, and at other times he mentions
the name of the book with its author. He died in Medina in the year (1135 AH) and he was
buried in Al-Baqi` This book is one of the sources that collected opinions, and clarified
some confusion through the discussion that the author mentioned about issues related to
the pronunciation of the basmalah and the statement of the close aspects to fact.
